It’s the start of Autumn. One of my favourite times of the year; schools go back, the leaves are turning and there’s that great smell of autumn just starting to creep in. To me it’s a time for new plans and new ideas.
At Theatre Factory we are doing something new this October; we’re mounting a small exhibition to remember our IF! Festival. The IF! Festival was a 12-month project of 9 shows about Barrow.

Exhibitions aren’t our usual thing; we leave that to our friends at ArtGene and Signal. But this is special.

The exhibition is a record of some of the processes that went into making those 9 shows. It includes, props, costumes, drawings and video. The highlight for me will be the 300+ ‘Alternative‘ Blue Plaques’ for Barrow made by people of all ages from all over town celebrating what they love about their community.
