I wouldn’t miss this for all the chips on Walney
We are excited to invite you to a performance on 21 March at The Cooke's Studios — a captivating evening that celebrates Barrow.
This FREE event will be performed script-in-hand by a community cast, featuring the work of our Community Writing Group and includes a pay-what-you-want bar!
Terrific Tales features talking seagulls, the queue for pies at Greens’, the tranquillity of Roanhead Beach, pubs with sticky floors, the 2010 Barrow vs Stevenage game at Wembley and memories of the Public Hall.
This is the second year of Terrific Tales - here’s what the public said last time . . .
I found everything so well performed, nicely spaced out and hilarious in parts, but also so touching.
We look forward to sharing this evening of local creativity and community storytelling with you. It's a fantastic celebration of Barrow, full of heart and local flavour. We hope to see you there!
