Lemonade Stand is about a pregnant teenager and what happens in the sweltering heat of what now seems to be a typical British summer.
The door of her flat is open . . . but not for the world to just burst in on her!
So begins a very unusual partnership.
Drugs, Dads, Deadbeats. It is about how wholesome human relationships grow on even the most barren ground in the most chaotic of circumstances, and about how people make the right choices when everything in their history is stacked against them.
Lemonade Stand bubbles with bittersweet energy and hope.
Staged with up and coming Barrovian performers and created by local Writer Matthew King.
Lemonade Stand will be performed at The Meeting Place on 1 and 2 April 2027 at 7.30 pm
